174 K - 1961 / 1962
Seen here being used in the Arbroath Pursuit in the Summer of 1961, this Scot Continental was purchased a few months earlier from Nicholson's Cycles in Arbroath Rd, Dundee. Bought as a frameset it was raced extensively in the Dundee area, the owner being a member of the 'Fairport Wheelers' from Arbroath. It was equipped with mainly Campagnolo equipment, and with Stronglight cranks.
16 years later in 1976, the bike still looks as good as the day it was built, and sporting a new set of gold anodised Galli cranks.
