1937
On
display at the Grampian Transport Museum in Alford, this single-speed
fixed wheel Scot, thought dating from 1937, displays typical modifications
made by cycle owners in wartime. The frame has been repainted black, as
have the wheel rims, although this was also a popular finish chosen from
new. The only transfer remaining on the frame, is the "Rattray's Cycle
Depot" headbadge.
