In
the 1930's, the McNeil Brothers John & Andy produced some
fine lightweight machines at 925 Govan Road, Glasgow. Andy continued
to build them for a short period after the war, and they were
sold under his own 'Andy McNeil' name. Though the above machine
was thought to date from 1948, the frame number '446.2'
is perhaps more indicative of one built two years earlier. |
