SPECIFICATION

Frame & Forks ; 

Full Reynolds 531 butted tubing throughout. Nervex Professional lugs and bracket shell. Simplex frame & fork ends with derailleur hanger added to rear. Semi-Wrapround pencil seat stays, Rapid taper chain stays. Braze-on's for brake cable, cable pivot, and small rear carrier / bag support. Tecalmit lube. nipples fitted to head tube and BB shell. Frame No.444B constructed in 1952.

 

 

Finish

Polychromatic Light Green with full gold lug lining and white head tube and seat tube panels. (Refinished by Dave Yates 2003) Transfers (waterslide & varnish fix) made from original copies.

Wheels

700c Rimtec (by Mavic) (32h front & rear) Laced 3x, using DT competition spokes to Campagnolo Record Large Flange hubs front and rear. Continental Grand Prix 700 x 23c tyres.

Gears

Campagnolo Nuovo Record front and rear Derailleurs. Record front and rear downtube changers. 5-Speed 14-24 Everest Gold freewheel.

Chainwheel & Cranks

Campagnolo Record Strada cranks with 42 / 52 teeth chainwheels.
