Rattrays l'Ecosse Frames
Just where these Rattray's built frames sit in the general scheme of things is yet to be discovered however it would appear they were at the time designated as
L'-Ecosse models, and all seem to follow the same pattern of frame building, quite different from the main "Flying Scot" range.

They would appear to date from the early 50's, and unlike the main range, use a different frame numbering system to the Flying Scot's built post 1950 in that they have the year letter before the sequential frame number.

No doubt more of these frames will surface (certainly more exist than shown here) and where they sat in the range will become a bit clearer.
